This site has been set up to help people enjoy and look after the special parks and gardens in the Bristol area. You’ll find lesson plans, factsheets, worksheets and ideas for raising money for your school by using your local park. We’ve also provided historic pictures, links to maps and aerial photos offering you a ‘bird’s eye view’ of individual parks. Use these to help you see how your local park has developed over time and what features might be found there. This material should support local area study and project work on the Victorians.

If you or your school has any material or good ideas that we should include as the website develops please let us know and we will try to include it.
